Welcome to the Halton & District Model Flying Club!

Founded circa 2001, as a loose formation of flying enthusiasts in a wood!

Many tree strikes later we moved to our present site at Halton Moss in the Parish of Moore, near Warrington, Cheshire.

Our flying patch is quite wide and long, with fields on either side, and our nearest neighbours are half a mile away.

All flying disciplines are catered for, taking pride in our range of instructors and examiners with whom you can learn to fly from scratch, or progress practicing for your ‘A’ or ‘B’ certificate, plus a Club solo scheme.

All of our officers are CRB registered to enable the Club to cater for children and vulnerable adults.

With ample parking facilities, the disabled have direct access to the flying field.

Access to the flying field is only available with a member, as there are locked gates, so please contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.  A new member has joined our club, but he needs a lift to the flying site at weekends.
He is willing to help with the cost of fuel and would be very grateful.
He is a Mr W. Davies, and his address is 22 Littlegate, Halton Brook Runcorn WA7 2EE. If anyone can help him, please call him on 01928 500 161.
(He did have a lift before joining the club, but this is no longer available to him - hence the request).
